- #6934 is safe and sound here in Oxford, Michigan. GREAT pressing and even better packaging. I remember hearing this album for the first time in college and being floored. Still my desert island rock band to this day. \m/ \m/
- Bought number 5628/7500 at their Pensacola show. $50 in the shrink. Complete with autographed insert.
- Based on what I own or what I've read reviews on, this is the second best Clutch pressing to date of any of their albums (the MOV pressing of self-titled is either above it or equal). Only thing this could use, which smorgan3000 mentions below, is a little thickening agent on the low end. Even with my sub it doesn't quite provide the low punch I'd expect. Overall this pressing is excellent though. This also tops the recent Robot Hive limited edition.
Clutch vinyl pressings haven't exactly dazzled in the past. Hopefully the past couple of releases are a sign they're trending in the right direction. Would love pressings like this of Elephant Riders and PRF. - Mine sounds great. Quiet. Could use a little more low-end punch, but that can be EQ'd pretty easily. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of "frills" on this for $60, though. The Robot Hive reissue was a 2LP and had a 7" and the Blast Tyrant was at least a 2LP. This is a single record without much else. Not sure why it's $60 new from the distributor. It's a good record and sounds great. But $40 seems about right. Not sure where the extra $20 went to... Oh well, no big complaints. Just a bit pricy.
- Hi everyone! I love mine, I’m happy with it. No complaints. Incase anyone, (Discogs, obsessed fan, who ever) is keeping track, #157 is in Northern Nevada. Have a great day folks!
- Edited 8 months agoLove this album, but not loving this price point. Spot gloss cover is good but thin stock. Inner printed sleeve could have been an inset with poly sleeve. Need to go back to original cd to compare mastering, but my copy has surface noise after ultrasonic cleaning and is cut low vol and sounds a bit compressed…Maybe to fit run time on one lp or the master is just like this? 24:28 side A and 21:42 side B For $60 could we have gotten 2 x 45 rpm pressed at QRP? Will likely keep it, but missed opportunity here as it sounds good not great.
- Been waiting for this for a long time. Super well done all around. Sounds good (you might want to adjust the bass up slightly) & very high quality jacket. The new artwork is from the original designer. That information and more context on this album from this great interview with the band: https://youtu.be/73We8KbmAK8?si=_1rkpn33-dnu_ekj
- Edited 8 months agoStill very confused about this, there is clearly 2 different pressings of this, the Sea glass blue and the Translucent Green yet Clutch are saying there's only 1, The Translucent Green, what's going on here?
