Barracudas – Drop Out With The Barracudas

Would love to know what year this edition was released in. I'd guess it was a bootleg from the 2000s because the cover looks computer printed, except there's browning inside the sleeve that would suggest older. The back of the sleeve says 1982, so maybe it is. But whatever printing technique they used, the effect is that of ink jet on the coated matte paper. The cardstock is thin, but not too thin for an album from the 80s. Bows open like modern vinyl sleeves do. The record itself had a small tab of excess vinyl on the edge, which I removed with a fingernail. I'm regretting that now because it was an imperfection that made it a bit more interesting. The mix is a little on the high end, but I think that's to be expected from a band that never made it.

Still, super glad to have this on vinyl finally! This is a great album that should be way better known than it is.

My GMG copy carries the catalogue number MIG 36 on sleeve and labels - apart from that it seems identical to this.
