Ry Cooder – Chicken Skin Music

It is probably symptomatic of the times we live in, but the fact that an album like this has become so out of price is incomprehensible.
Fabulous songs, an unbeatable border aroma, mastery and feeling, a real treat, like everything this great artist called Ry Cooder does.

Is it really a UK issue: i do not think so.
This reference should be canceled?

Just picked this up from Walmart on sale for $13 and change. Sound quality is amazing. Strong clear and dynamic. No surface noise at all. Truly a great pressing. Cooder is a personal favorite. Talent for days. Surrounded by quality musicians. This lp is a work of art.

Wonderful recording and great pressing. As with all Ry Cooder albums the seperation of the instruments and vocals, the crisp sound and the wide soundstage are stunning. For the price of this record in your local second hand vinyl store, you just have to take this beauty home with you.

This is easily one of the best MoFi records I own: it sounds AMAZING. The dynamics are unreal and it truly feels like Cooder and his ragtag team of musicians are playing right there in your home. Stunning release by MoFi—get one now!

Received mine today, I should know better than to order direct from mofi, once AGAIN received a cover with seam splits, and they will do NOTHING about it (last time told me if I want a mint cover to buy from a local store). From now on I order from Music Direct, they take care of their customers.

This pressing sounds absolutely phenomenal. This is my first MFSL release and it really blew me away dropping the stylus and hearing no background noise. The mastering on this LP is absolutely killer and comes in a gorgeous tip on jacket with information about the record inside the gatefold. This record really sounds insane, if you can find it in your local shop I highly recommend you give this one a listen.

This record is amazing, it's severely underrated in the MoFi catalog and underrated in general. Fantastic record. Such a fun listen.

This is such a fun and eclectic rendition of songs arranged brilliantly "Hawaiian style" from a national treasure. The MoFi pressing that I finally got a hold of (no. 2353) delivers it flawlessly, with all of the contributing musicians coming out with great separation and a really low noise floor over a wide soundstage. A huge upgrade to the redbook CD. So happy to finally add this to version to my collection.

One you should add to your collection. Dynamics are excellent and great soundstage depth.
