Finally got around to buying this LP. Looking at the runout and I don't see any of the usual GZ/MRP computer etched numbers. Does anyone where Variant 2 was pressed?

I'm glad to have this, but until we get a AAA pressing we are all settling for less than. This should have been a deluxe AAA box set.

Wow! I actually think this pressing sounds better than the Crash album which is also fantastic. This album is dead silent and the dynamics and sound is good as it gets. Better than 95% of my collection.

Well I'm 61 and it took me this long to finally listen to this album all the way thru for the first time ever. All I can say is wow, what a great sounding lp by a diverse and talented bunch of musicians. Walmart comes through with clean flat yellow vinyl even though it's not 180 grams but that doesn't matter cause it's a Chris Bellman cut and it's all about the mastering. I do have Crash and Under the Table which are great albums also but I just never got around to giving other DMB albums a chance. You know there's only so much time to listen to everything out there and I was stuck following other genres like grunge during the 90s and decided this kind of music was too mellow for me. Well tastes evolve as one grows older and these tunes have hit a sweet spot for me now. I'll definitely have to investigate other Dave Matthews albums from yester year. Also, I love how each of the 4 sides finishes up with a short instrumental ditty just like it was made for vinyl. And this was back in 1998 no less when vinyl was nearly extinct.

Maybe not quite as dynamic as the Crash pressing, but I'm very happy with this. Likley a digital source, Chris Bellman did a really fantastic job on this.
