      Long-awaited, and overall does not disappoint. The pressing, as others have stated, is wonderful - the crisp highs and deep lows (and overall sense of space) that define this record are reproduced beautifully here. Unfortunately, mine came with a ton of surface noise - could be a QC issue where the vinyl is being packaged while still warm, or maybe just mishandling in the mail, but it's quite distracting. Anyone else experiencing this?

        Received mine yesterday. Played all 4 sides straight through. No problems with the pressing that I can detect. A wonderful and long awaited release. The demo disc is awesome and the main event is rich, deep and cleanly pressed without an annoying abundance of artifacts or pops. Arrived nice and flat. I'm delighted!

          I just did an A/B comparison between the original CD (Oppo disc player) and this new vinyl pressing (Technics 1500C / SuperOm 40) and there is barely any distinguishable difference in sound quality, except for the vinyl surface crackle. This says more about how excellent CD mastering is than anything else. What puts this release over the top is the amazing 2nd LP of late-80s & Woodface-era demos, most of which are unavailable anywhere else.

            I love this great Vinyl pressing done by Needle Mythology. Cut by Miles Showell, he has really done the album justice with a full, broad, dark sound, not taking away anything from the sound of the original CD-release, but just enhancing what was already good about that. The vinyl is dead silent, and the release comes with a full extra disc of Neil/Tim-demo's from around Woodface and this project, which means you can hear them at their creative peak. A fantastic release, that you should buy!

              a freaking MASTERPIECE! you want to delve into Neil and Tim's soul? THIS IS IT! screaming for a vinyl release and I don't care if this was recorded on ADAT (I don't know but it seems appropriate for the timeline)...

              I will NEVER get tired of listening to this album!

              OK, is it me or did the printing folks screw up and did not include the lyrics to "Where is my soul?" on the blank page with a young Neil????
