My copy skips a lot--it looks as if the grooves of the record are not very deep at all, so I assume that has something to do with why my player has difficulty tracking. Ah well I guess. I'm just writing this here in the event others have this same problem.

It could be argued that Frusciante's post-Empyrean electronic music tends to work better without his vocals, as he's able to wring just as much emotion out of his machines as he is with his voice. His melancholic style shines through beautifully here. The music mostly leans towards electro and includes a couple of his now familiar breakcore-leaning excursions and two 4/4 bangers, one of which, 85h, might be the stand out piece here. The music was made with "10 or so synced machines through a small mixer into a CD burner" and the result is pretty much sonic perfection that benefits from multiple listens. Like most of his records, this will likely be a collector piece down the road.
