Terranova continue their deep house takeover of Kompakt with RESTLESS, a vibrant album that starts with the heavy bass hits and vocals from the ever-helpful Stereo MCs on "Tell Me Why," whereas "Goldilocks" goes on a long and whooping trail. "Underverse" has some hints of classic Chicago house in its spare construction and spoken word, while "Labrador" goes into an extended jam. "Kepler 186f" brings in a touch of the tribal, mixing it with some blues vocals, whereas "Twisted Souls" returns to more moody, melodic tech-house, with "Restless Summer" keeping the deep vibe intact. But the most breathtaking track on the album would be the delicate interplay of voices and melodies on "Skin and Bones." It's a great track, and one that's sure to keep your feelings and your feet restless.
