Eric Clapton – Just One Night

Finally found this on my local flea market after knowing the CD version for decades. It's worth buying because of „Double Trouble“. Other tracks are also great but the guitar solo from „Double Trouble“ beats everything on this live album.

Excellent recording, one of the best Eric Clapton albums in my opinion.

A soulless LP. Nothing special. Not enjoyable. Mostly boring. And not sonically so well captured. Maybe 3 star are even too much. Two and half star could be ok

A very good pressing. Very warm and very clear. I love to listen to Clapton through the years and how his sound changed over time. This album does a very good job capturing his tone at the time during the late 70's. It's got a raw sound, and yet very well produced. Being able to hear Clapton's chops and at the same time hear the bass running all over the fret board with each note very distinctive. Great album and excellent pressing.

Found a copy at Book-Off earlier today… It sounds great for a live album! Eric is right there front and center, the band is very well recorded and the crowd far and polite in the back.
Not a pop or a click.
Very happy surprise!

Nice and clear, nice bottom end, fairly punchy. Worth the bargain bin price for a VG+ copy.

It’s a very nice album with very good audio. The band are hot and the songs great. There’s a beautiful analog snap from the drums. Recommend!

Only One Night is One Great Night! Fantastic live recording. They really know how to do it at Budokan. Other great live performances have been recorded there. This one is right up there. Claptons' version of "Cocaine" is the best song on these great albums.
