Notes
Sir Neville Marriner recorded the Brandenburg Concertos three times: twice in analogue for Philips (1971, and 1981), and a digital version for EMI in 1985. Each recording was issued as a complete set, as well as two separate discs containing 3 concertos each.
This entry is for the complete 1981 recording.

Recommendations
Reviews
- Remarkably quiet and dynamic recording. Perhaps the best sounding strings I've ever heard on vinyl. Highly recommended!
- These are fantastic-sounding records. I used the first Brandenburg to audition equipment in the late 1980s. This set is seriously underpriced in the market, but I guess many classical LPs are, given the diminishing audience for classical music.
