This album is truly lovely. I've been playing it for over two years now and it hasn't lost anything with repetition. Ignore the misleading genre tags on Discogs - this is melodic ambient techno for the 21st Century, with a delightfully soft musical touch. So often this kind of record feels the need to demonstrate its leftfield credentials with noisy, wonky or downright weird moments, and Applescal has been guilty of this in the past, but here he opts for the pure pleasure principle, with winning results. Recommended.
