Reviews
- "Birgit Boogie" is such a nice piece of Disco dancing stuff. Really light-hearted but well crafted.
"Pete found his Z" was maybe named "Pete found his K" before?! Anyway, a real crazy bomb track that can save lives. Carl Cox even recommended that as a secret weapon, if I'm not mistaken... - Edited 5 years agoThis is a journey between disco, boogie, house, techno... To me, it's one of the best electronic album released since 2000.
These reverses percutions samples in the Backlash track are so nasty and the organ improvisation in the Pete Found His z track could break any boogie, disco, house or also techno dancefloor. Birgit Boogie sounds also as a dancefloor breaker... So buy it, listen it, play it, groove it and talk about it because it is the essence of electronic dance music. Yes Maurice Fulton strikes it again and again and we are all lucky to have this guy alive. We love you Maurice !! - Edited 8 years agoMaurice Fulton produces yet another wonderful LP with great diversity under the Boof moniker. Deep and dark house music, the typified disco sound he is so good at and awesome moody atmosphere's...
When listening to "Tomoko's O" for the first time I thought it was a leaf straight out of the Bola (Skam) school of thought - which can only be a huge positive in my book.
My only niggle is the absence of gaps between tracks.
