Reviews
- These weird Japanese have been produced by Adrian Sherwood and On-U. They once again track the crude Industrial reggae dub sound, as it was once established by the New Age Steppers. Thus the depth of the echo chambers are explored with unfortunately a little too freely acting riddims that lose themselves in details, sometimes to threaten-probably the decisive joint smoking too much. They also have a penchant for silly jokes, because that is a few vocal fragments song title rows are hyped-because once you laugh about it, but then it's just a stale joke. Typically japanese one might say, if it's worth doing, then it's worth oveerdoing. Otherwise, it's been a fun thing with a few highlights. Never goes that far as earlier Mark Stewart + Maffia, in sound comparatively soft. Something stupid, the Jimi Hendrix cover "Burning Of The Midnight Lamp", the line "Space Children - Universal Love" was attributed to Nona Hendryx, but hails from Funkadelic's "Cosmic Slop", right?
