This Heat – Deceit

Originals going for around the same price as reissues. For my money, I would just get an original. Not sure why the value is speculated to be so high on this reissue.

I've been listening to this album on streaming services for years. Call me ridiculous, but I finally decided to grab one of these off the Discogs market. This album sounds great, punchy, and LOUD. I barely need to crank my volume and this thing is booming. Totally worth it for me considering the price even reissues are going for these days!

My copy skips A LOT (multiple times in almost every song). This is The first time I Encounter This issue With a vinyl. Anyone's got the same ?

Will this ever be rereleased - prices are fucking ridiculous?

I have to agree about the quality of this pressing. Avoiding the nowadays common mistake of loudness it is quite an enjoyable listen.

The whole recent Windmill/post-punk revival scene owes their sound to this album.

One of the finest examples of how it can be done. The sturdy sleeve, booklet and excellent print/finish are the icing on a cake made of perfect audio. Flat, silent surface. Amazing separation. Huge depth of dynamic and stereo field. Everything sits in its pocket - except when it's not supposed to!
