Notes
Original US vinyl pressings were embossed with braille on the front cover and inside gatefold, which is the first time an artist used braille on an album’s artwork. The braille on the front cover spells out Stevie’s name and the album title, and the inside gatefold has the message “Here is my music. It is all I have to tell you how I feel. Know that your love keeps my love strong. – Stevie".

J-Keller, I absolutely agree. I own 4 different vinyl versions of TB : this one, a UK original, a 2008 180 gram reissue and the MFSL Silver Label version. This US version is the best, definitely. Just listen to track 2 and hear how rich the bottom end is and how wonderful the clavinet sounds. Ray Parker Jnr's guitar also sounds more prominent than my other versions. SW's 1970's output was as poorly recorded as it was gloriously made, so to hear TB like this is very welcome. Very recommended and very affordable, and the Dynaflex effect doesn't detract, trust me.

Sweet sounding release. Can't compare with other editions about dynamics, eq, etc. but it sounds very well balanced with no sibilance distiortion; i's a pleasure to listen. The vinyl is dead quiet even after all these years and the gatefold jacket is lovely in it's matte finish.

This pressing sounds spectacular. Soundstage is huge and separation is excellent. Love the bottom end of this press especially. Portions of the album sound 3D even on a modest setup. Definitely worth picking up if you’ve been looking for a good press of this album. Especially since VG+ copies are still relatively affordable (as of this review there’s plenty in the $20 range). I absolutely recommend this press!
I've picked up several copies of this pressing with the same issue - there's some fuzzy static on side 2, particularly on "Blame it on the Sun" and "Lookin' for Another Pure Love." Has anyone else had this issue?

Superstition sound amazing on this release. It’s the best I’ve ever heard it sound compared to SACD, other CDs. However this pressing suffers HEAVILY from Inner Groove Distortion. Every first track on each side is great but, everything else is horrific. If you want the whole album AVOID IT. If you just want superstition this is a great copy.

I believe I have a variant of this version. All in the Notes section and all images match, only difference is in the Matrix/Runout:
Matrix / Runout (A Side runout): HS-1993-1 B5RS-8106-RE-1 M.B.G. TVC C6
Matrix / Runout (B Side runout): HS-1994-2 B5RS-8107-RE-1 M.B.G. TVC D8

The picture disk is very noisy, very on the first song of the side 1, it's play like a g+ a the start and g+ on all. But the mastering is very clear. Suspertistion, seems one point higher than the originale

I would appreciate any info on this. Can't find a similar version anywhere online.

Incredible pressing on what looks to be the 'Super' or 'Quiex' vinyl of the time (held up to light it's translucent due to the omission of standard black vinyl dye). It's extremely clean sounding vinyl with little to no background noise.
The mastering is a very balanced presentation - it differs from the great 'M.B.G.' early Tamla pressings but is a very nice clear presentation in its own right. 'Blame it on the Sun' sounds wonderful in particular - the dynamics between quieter verse passages and chorus are lovely and the acoustic guitar really chimes.
The gatefold cover is beautifully produced, printed on thick textured leather (possibly?) binding. The clearest reproductions of the artwork that I've seen, in rich colours. Overall a beautiful edition of this incredible album!
