This kendun 1st pressing sounds absolutely stunning! Really deep bottom end with excellent top end and mids. My gatefold sleeve even appears to be laminated as it has a light sheen throughout. Highest recommendation for these kendun pressings.- This pressing is perfectly listenable, but the mix sounds pretty muddy to me. The bg vocals on Bird of Beauty sound like they're under a blanket. Very warm sounding throughout though!
- Slightly disappointed with this pressing. My copy is in great shape, but just sounds, I don’t know, muddy, I guess, like a film coats the music. Not at all engaging, like I would expect from an original pressing (hope I’m using that term correctly) in excellent condition. My two cents.

I havnt heard any other pressing but this Kendun lacking Monarch press sound pretty muddy. Probably because its some lame in house mastering instead of Kenduns.- Any thoughts on this pressing? I just bought because it was a good deal but can't find anything abou this one

Stevie Wonder is unquestionably one of the greatest multi-instrumentalists/singer-songwriters to have ever lived in all of popular music. His 1971-1980 canon (which includes 1971's Where I'm Coming From, 1972's Music of My Mind and Talking Book, 1973's Innervisions, 1976's Songs in the Key of Life, and 1980's Hotter Than July) is widely recognized as one of the greatest album runs in music history (rivaled only by the Beatles, golden-era Prince, Marvin Gaye, and Joni Mitchell—just to name a few.) When accounting the high stature Wonder's classic-era canon has garnered, his 1974 album, Fulfillingness' First Finale tends to be least discussed and, more often than not, generally overlooked among music enthusiasts, Wonder novices, and music connoisseurs alike. In fact, I find it to be—next to 1971's Where I'm Coming From and 1979's non-canonical soundtrack for Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants—the black sheep of his greatest, most prolific period. Spiritually driven, inherently personal, and downright reflective, Fulfillingness' First Finale marked a crucial turning point for Wonder, not only in a musical sense, but a philosophical one as well (as the album's elaborate and timely title suggests.) Released a year after his 1973 sociopolitically earnest masterpiece, Innervisions, Finale found Wonder exploring his personal faith and mortality in great depth after his involvement in a near-fatal. life-altering car accident twelve months before. Musically, its woozy, summery, hazy, mellowed-out psychedelic bent has lent an enduring sound to numerous artists within the neo-soul and alt-R&B world that few even give it credit for. More importantly, the album's somber, albeit spiritually ethereal tones and tumultuous backstory may contribute to its underloved status in the lineage of Wonder's beloved classic-era canon. - I believe that the record label shown is not correct...in actual fact on the 1st Israel Pressing the label is RED and indicates Israel on it.
