Can any one enlighten me to why this release is so special?

Just a few days ago some random guy send me a mail on here asking if I want to sell it.

My copy looks exactly like the provided pictures. I had this for decades and bought it new at some long defunct music store in Taastrup Denmark around 2001. To me it looks just like a regular CD with blue print and black text.

Other than that this album still sounds awesome today.

And no it is not for sale it's mine to keep use and abuse how I see fit. Maybe not so much abuse I still want to be able to listen to it.

A solid album that I've tried to get into countless times, even had the CD, but don't find it as impressive as everyone else today. The mixing is a class act and this sound must have floored people on club systems back in 95/96, but these tracks just don't have a ton of replay value for me. Not sure what it is, maybe the saw riffing is too fatiguing or there is just too much reverb everywhere, too much of the same tired interpretation of the phrygian scale, track-in track-out. So maybe just the wrong combination of things for me. Still decent though, and Utopia and Enlightened Evolution are the best in my opinion. Utopia has about a minute-long ride starting around the 3:40 mark that lets some excess boil off and finally gets at the essence of trance before the portion returns again in the second half of the song, that part reminds me of Laughing Buddha. Enlightened Evolution has a phenomenal bass line, the entire track is pretty good, but honestly would have loved a mix that focused more on that bass line and drums instead of "let's stack saws so tall you almost can't hear it anymore", but it's still a fun track and I enjoy whenever it plays on TIP Blue.

If you are a fan of fully charged maximalist goa trance or psy trance then obviously you should love this album. I think I enjoy different styles of the genre more--for instance--I don't think I.F.O. is very good either (T.I.T. is much better than that from compositions to production), but even so I think Dancing Galaxy is SIGNIFICANTLY better than this, Pigs and Space/Tandu is much better, and Dimension 5's Transdimensional is better even though the production is more homemade.

Stunning record. I grew up with this music and after many years it still sounds fresher than all goatrance of 00s and 10s

While older members here recollect bits and pieces from the bygone age, there's nothing wrong for new-comers like me to just go with the big names. Well, the astral boys, along with GNOTR, Ethnica and Transwave are among the biggest of the big, with their highly acidic 303 sounds and heavily-indian influenced melodies, they earned themselves a permanent spot on the Goa hall of fame.

True, there're so many hits in goatrance haydays I can't even pick one as my current favourite, but amongst those old goodies there is one very album that stands out like no other, with a name so big no one's unheard of---Trust In Trance. Just put your headset on and these astronauts will take you on a space ride you'll never ever forget. Kabalah, one of the group's best effort is here for you to enjoy and all other tracks are great too, they eat Man With No Name stuff for breakfast!

TL;DR version: no cheese, pure awesomeness, ear porno at its best. Grab it if you see one and rid yourself another bunch of weed :)

we all know that the world of goa has a amazing producers around the world, but we need to accept that israel is a mine of gold for this amazing kind of music!!
astral projection bring to us an amazing album which all the songs are truly amazing, but the real anthem here is People can fly!!! this tune has everything, the rythm and melodies are just incredible and the sample in the last part of the song is a amazing way to trip and realize that, when you dream there are no rules!!!!!!
                    • I'll be quite frank with you, as this is my favorite Goa album. *This* is the sound of Goa Trance. My friends, if you have not heard this album, you have simply not heard Goa. This is a landmark album of Goa trance, and marked the peak of the movement.

Ironically, it did not include what many consider the greatest Goa track of all time, and yes, that is also an Astral Projection track - Mahadeva. But it does include a whole bunch of amazing and mindblowing tracks, starting off the cd with the best of them - Kabalah.

Buy this cd, it will be one of your best purchases in your entire life.

I reckon it might be possible to limit the amount of classic albums in the All Time Trance Hall Of Fame to some 20 albums. Any serious trance lover will tell you that this album belongs there.

This is not just an amazing Trance album. This is an amazing Music album.

Why? Because of the endless list of hits here? Because of the never ending number of artists that have found their main source of inspiration here? Well, I could try to put in words what this music does to the faithful trance follower more than 10 years after its release ;o) This album has not only stood the test of time. It still defines the sound of GOA even more impressive, entrancing, and ground breaking today.

                        Words won't suffice.

With this album Astral Projection presented the original mid nineties melodic Goa Trance and easily the epiphany of this period and style. Far and away a must in any trance collection. Correction. In any music collection.
