Both songs are really great tunes. Gravastar being the better one IMO. Starts out with some sound effects and goes straight into a 4/4 beat. Slowly builds to a nice but subtle bass line. Afterwards the melodic ambient tune really takes hold of you. A Little over half way through the track, it dives off into a few seconds of ambiance and then suddenly throws you right into a somewhat of a 4/4 break beat mix with a hint of tribal flare to its sound.

      Very solid tune.

Gravastar is perhaps one of the most beautiful pieces of deep, progressive trance i have ever come across. On the whole it has a feeling of outer space travel, starting off with strange grinding noises and what could be an engine warming up.... some mashing metal noises and then in comes a steady beat. It plays around with the idea of a soundscape, with noises running all over the place, before in comes this slow sweeping sound and FINALLY this incredible spine-tingling element that slices through the air without being at all harsh.

This tune is a perfect way to wind down a beautiful trance or deep, progressive house set. Seriously good music!

Don't know why the Hybrid boys didn't include "Celebrity Science" on the full length album "Morning Sci-Fi" as its a great piece of work. The classic "big room breaks" sound that put Hybrid on the map are the heart and soul of this track. A must have to complete "Morning Sci-Fi" and counter the laid back & vocal tracks from the album.

Yet another Distinctive Promo from the Hybrid camp. "Gravistar" starts things off with a 4/4 melodic journey, keeping the energy level at a steady pace, this track swims along with underwater bliss. Flip for the Hybrid we all know and love with "Celebrity Science" a massive breakbeat number with great production and excelent energy.
