Good god, what a mix ! I think of this mix as a more refined, less trancey but no less spacey version of the "Planet Rampant" mixes by Doran.
Compared to a bunch of reviews I've seen, this does not sound dated at all. The spacey bass and loops help this mix standing the test of time.

The Edge Factor remix of "No Other Love" is where the set soars up, and it peaks until "Wired" for me. All these 5 tracks are incredible, with none second waisted. I particularly love the exotic, oriental-ish sound heard through both "I Am" remixes, as well as the passage of "Wired" lasting from 4:14 to 5:11.

I have a particular attachment to the Jackpot label. I discovered it with the "Big Beat Royale" (which Jackpot licensed) and then had my first ventures into trance and progressive thanks to Amethyst aka Skope. Their LP "Goldenfishfever" is a goldmine too.
Also, Skope's "Back 'N' Front" is featured on the second disc of Oakenfold's mighty "Perfecto Presents Another World" mix.

"The Winning Ticket", definitely a winner and a no-brainer.

Don't know if it is my pressing, but the kick drum is way too loud, the mix lets me down, of this mix I expected subtle progressive house, not the brutality of bang bang four to the floor handbag.

The cover art on my 3xLP vinyl is slightly different. Instead of "John Digweed - The Winning Ticket", mine says "The Winning Ticket - Limited Edition"

This is probably one of the best late 1990's house compilations ever compiled by such none other than John Digweed. Seamless mixing with "Blue Amazon" starting out. Following on with chimerical lyrics from "Chakra - I am". Through to acid "Squelch" track into "Tenth Chapter" another corker building & brooding analog number onto "Shango's" hypnotic "Tunnelvision", where more galloping 303 lines delight in trancendental bliss. As the mix progresses Digweed spins "Atlas - Beauty" finally into "Anima". This CD represents a never forgetable era of soul and progressive house mixing that any reasonable clubber would forever consider groovy. Timeless - a true classic mix of fine musical genius.
