I am one of a few I guess that only knows 'Love Story', which although overplayed, is still an excellent track. Its only now after all these years that I have actually listened to the is LP (shamefully cut short on vinyl) and what an album it is. The production is top notch with great quality sounds, baselines, and synths, quality samples and a great array of themes. The energy in the album is electric, smooth and ultra cool. It also spans a few genres, which sometimes in an album can result in mixed results, but thankfully not here. The breadth of styles on offer just adds to the quality and listenability of this album. Rather than be swamped with one type of music, there are great breaks tracks with filthy funk grooves, smooth future jazz/lounge rhythms and deep house which is quite progressive at times. I think this will get dusted off often. Lovely

Aside from the fact this is a brilliant album, does anyone know the origins of track 4, 'Sahara'? It's essentially 40 seconds of a flanging, phasing sound with an Indian vibe about it. I've heard it used on several tracks as a sample before now, particularly in DJ Nukem & Chab's 'Wanted' (where it sets my neck hairs on edge; it's so perfectly placed in the breakdown). If Layo & Bushwacka composed it, credit to them, but I wonder if it originated elsewhere?

Innovative music for open minded hippie crowd :) this convinced me that Progressive isn't a dirty word, only bad music has given it a bad meaning. I must agree with another reviewer. Very diverse and consistent at the same time. A gem.

A brilliant Release by Layo And Bushwacka!. This Cd is of very high quality production skills. The songs, as usual with Layo And Bushwacka!, vary in genre, but all hold the same consistent skill. I have yet to hear a bad remix or production by Layo And Bushwaka!. This cd appears as if it had a lot of time spend on it, and i recommend any fans of ANY electronic music to pick it up, give it a try, and i almost guarantee you will enjoy it.

After having a hard time finding it at the record store (it supposed to be at 'house' but it turned out to be stored at 'progressive techno') i listened to this record, and found out why the record store had had such a hard time to classify this record. Varying from 'instrumental hiphop' to flat-out 'dance' and anything in between, L&B! have created an album so unbelievably consistent yet so inventive and varying. At least give it a try!
