- I just listened to the part where two tracks are playing simultaneously through seporate channels and I found the experience enjoyable.
- I'm like 99% sure .215061 uses the same (or very similar) drums as analogue bubblebath from volume 1
- His categories are totally arbitrary. Some EPs are longer than Albums. Some singles are longer than EPs. Except for Selected Ambient Work 85-92, this is my favorite work of his at any length in any format. It has everything he is capable of. Just mind blowing. There's are variations where some tracks are one song in the left channel and another song in the right channel. I can't remember which releases, but avoid that because you want to hear every song on its own. They're all good. Sounds amazing on viny l and cd. The third thing I would buy would be Selected Ambient Works II. And the CD for Ventolin is fun. The American version of the single is maybe 12 tracks, so its albums worth or music for the price of a single. He just fucks with everything. He just care so damn much. All the Ananlogue Bubblebaths are worthwhile, as is I Care Becasue You Do. There so much good stuff; you wish he had a little more quality control so you didn't have to go through so much to find the really good stuff.
- Large sandwiches in Cornshire. Essential guide insert a cackle. Switching off speaker left or right a challenge of equipment capability, based a system just because of this "special cut"! No rear sticker = earlier cut, too! 11/10.
- been a fan of aphex twin for a year and a half, and recently i've been going into his older stuff. i fell in love with the analogue bubblebath series, with AB3 being my favorite. this pressing is cut super loud and punchy, perfect for a dance floor.
- My personal favourite on this release is S2 but I love S4 precisely because it combines L/R into one and the listening challenge it provides
- I will never tire of listening to this Ep, so many stunning tracks. Beautiful, haunting, timeless music that hasn’t aged at all. I think if you listen to this in another thirty years from now it would still have the same impact. Has that typical engrained Aphex sounds throughout, with his bespoke machines and handmade electronic sound toys. Brilliant!!
