Interpol – Antics

One of my favourite pieces on my collection, someone was selling both this and the turn on the bright lights cassette for a ridiculously cheap price each here in Mexico and I snatched this one right away before I could even wonder how they got them and why he was practically giving them away, I deeply regret not having the money at the time to get TOTBL too

I'm not sure what version I have but I just opened this brand new and my record was inside of a Pixies inner sleeve??

Mine copy have so many clicks and pops...side B it’s almost clicks everywhere....

What is the difference between this version and the new version release on 2020?

Woah great dynamics with guitars, slighty better than on cd to me

Say that it was a colored pressing at my local record store and throughly fuck it it probably sounds awful. Took it goin and was blown away very happy with this pressing. It’s the best feeling going into a release blind and really being treated right by the manufacturer

Confused by the favorable reviews because this is not a good pressing. Sound is super muddy during louder sections, bass and mids not punchy at all (which is a shame because this album has some killer bass lines). I'll have to seek out a better copy.

Great sound quality, bass is punchy and easy to pick out (as an early Interpol record requires!), no defects with my copy either.

Sounds absolutely fantastic! The record looks amazing and my copy isn’t warped at all. Only small issue is that the labels are pretty off white and don’t match the vinyl very well but other than that it’s really great.

I was expecting an average sounding pressing - but wow, this is very good. Big soundstage and crisp, clean sound. My copy has just a tiny bit of warping, but I can't pick up anything wrong with the sound.
