Listed as a Japanese release but this was widely released in European markets by EMI, not as an import, which is why so many turn up for sale outside Japan. I worked in a record shop from 1984 that specialised in CDs and this title was definitely available for shops to order in from EMI.

Awesome, just awesome...I agree with the previous commenter; this is miles ahead of the majority of contemporary electronic "artists" in almost every regard. No implied comparison to Vangelis here, but some of this predates a particular "Blade Runner-ish" vibe & sensibility by at least a good year or so. Cool record!

This still sounds like the future in the year 2017.

One of the best Electronic album ever released. Bought back in the early 80s, still sounds more fresh than todays electronic artists.

This is for sure one of the most underrated electronic albums I heard. And it's pretty unknown unfortunately, this deserves a lot more of recognition.

The melodies are catchy, the synths fat and the sound quality is years ahead of it's time (it's a Japanese album , you know)
"Unit" the most known track, but the best ones are on the B side, such as "Person to person" and "Clash"
If you love dark electronic music like myself, check it out If you haven't already, and skip the cheesy tracks such as Domino Dance.

Listening to this record for the first time. It's lovely! Reminds me a lot of early Detroit-stuff (Cybotron's "Enter" comes to mind.) I'm always glad to find out there are records out there that are this amazing I've never heard =)

The Logic is simply one of the greatest electronic music of all time from the Kraftwerk-ish genre. This album is a timeless progressive piece with the highest-grade mastery of every aspect. My personal note on soundquality: As a high-end audiophile engineer and studio owner I know all the methods of making a recording. But somehow I backup a vinyl onto CD, it's always better soundqualitywise than any other factory CDs from the original mastertapes. Don't ask me why, because there's no logical reason to answer how they destroy the soundquality? For me it's beyond understanding. The CD and the LP is made from the same masterape and I digitalise the LP myself and the resulting CD will be more precise, more transient-dynamics, better of everything than that of they've made in the factory, even if the LP were manufactured, pressed and digitalised and the signal went through several leads and electronics.... Unbeliveable..... OK, the best soundquality record exist of the Logic-album is none but MY recording of the 2x12" version. Even my self-produced CD-burner writes the pits/lands with an unparalelled accuracy, that NO factory burner can produce and the result is an outstanding CD-writing. Test method: try writing a copy of my CDs and you will hear how bad will the copy be. I offer my vinyl and CDs here on Discogs by the 2x12" version. FORGET the remaster-version! It's much worse than the original CD as usual!
