Not sure if this was the best idea if you have the other heady nuggs set. Consequently you end up with the clouds album twice. Would have been better as a purely rarities collection. Also none of the albums are gatefold as was remarked.- Why did they throw Magician vs. the Headache from Hit to the Future Head on here? Is it a different version or what? Am I Missing Something?
Edited 5 years agoAside from getting the original 1995 wb press on translucent green vinyl, the clouds lp in this set is the next best thing by a country mile. Mastered by Bernie Grundman.
The mixes sound more defined, rounder and less harsh where they need to be less harsh. And, they also sound harsher where intended! Skronky guitars never really sounded quite so skronky! Audiophile noise? Perhaps! But its not just the sense of skronk. Its the sense of dynamics.
No download codes? Mine doesn't have them and am curious if they were included or not.
