It's nice to see that this gem is finally out on vinyl. Saw it the other day at a store and I must say they should have put more effort in the quality of the cover. The whole package looks like it was done at a cheap copy shop. My first thought was that it must be a bootleg. Can't say anything about the quality of the pressing though.

Should be given a proper vinyl release eventually. Pretty sure this would sell out in a minute. Dope Folks, Chopped, Six2Six - anybody?
[edit: expression of gratitude to Taha & JTLM Records for answering my prayers - good looks!]

I'm from Philadelphia and I been really digging a lot of shit coming out of Chicago.I always loves Common but The Molemen are among some of my favorite MC's period.Juice is sick, Astonish, Primeridian, Rubberoom, Rhymefest, and of course my favorite Longshot, if your tired of the bullshit radio friendly crap out today check out some of Chi Towns finest

This is one of the absolute master pieces of the Chicago rap history. The productions are timeless and the lyrics are so deep and pictorially that I get goosebumps everytime I listen to it.
I found the connection to these guys on a featured track of the E.C Illa - E.C Illa L.P..
To sad that this is the only album of 'Tha Chamba' and it never been released on vinyl. I bought the CD for 30€ and there's no real chance to get it cheaper. But if you ever see it crab it!
They still making music today. But there's no chance to top the combination of ruff lyrics & sample based beats on this album. This record is unique and still sounds dope today.
If you ever want to get a little bit deeper into Chicago Hip Hop: Listen to this record and read the whole credit list attentively to find the way to some new sh*t.
