Yuri Gagarin (2) – At The Center Of All Infinity

I read that the person "Yuri Gagarin" became the first human to travel into space, as well as orbit the Earth in 1961. I'm quite sure this band borrowed his name for that reason.
However, this album is not only spacey, it transports me to a swealtering desert, such as the Gobi or Sahara, given its slight Mideastern vibe. Walking alone on blistering sands while tripping to this album gives me the sustenance I need to survive.
Oh, this 24-bit Bandcamp release sounds amazing, there's no ear daggers or boomy bass. Excellent!

If you're a Hawkwind fan chances are you'll like this. It's definitely space-rock much like earlier Hawkwind with a much harder edge to it. I'd compare it to "Space Ritual" in terms of musical similarities. If you like relatively long drawn out space trips this is for you.

My record didn't come with a numbering sticker - is anyone else affected? I know it was supposed on the shrinkwrap, I bought it new from the distributor back in the days.

Unfortunately, the splatter color is almost invisible due to the fact that black was used as base color. The vinyl is almost black, with some very very dull splatter.
