In the early 70s The Partridge Family TV show hit the airwaves and became a huge hit.

I was definitely the target market for the show and I loved it.

This is very likely the first album I ever owned and I played it over and over again. It’s well over 50 years since then and my musical tastes have broadened yet these songs were burned into my brain so while I could psychoanalyze why they still bring a smile to my face I’ll just drop the needle and enjoy.

So happy for the Discogs site and being able to find a sealed first pressing of this album that gave me such listening joy 50 years ago as well as today.

Ignore the haters, critics and those who think they have such a high opinion and have a listen.

Another manufactured musical group created for an ABC TV comedy series in the 60's...Real life Mom and son were the singing leads and they DID use their vocals most of the time...But the rest of the group were studio voices plus many of the musicians were from The Wrecking Crew...Light and airy but without much substance, The Partridge Family were Top 40 radio fodder and little more...
