This is a great sounding reissue. Lovely clean pressing with great dynamics and what a great band..wow.

There’s a silent gap between A3 and A4 when the ride cymbal should connect the 2 tracks. I wonder if the earlier pressings had this fault.

Sounds great to me, a little worse than some of my other Low albums but they all set such a high bar as some of the best records I own.

Any comments on the quality of this release? I really want this on vinyl, and this is the only version I can get currently.

Pressing sounds atrocious, especially compared to "Secret Name" which is one of my best sounding and a way superior album in general.

This might outrage the longtime fans but I really have to say this, This is the band’s weakest record ever, there is not even a single good track (minus California and Monkey, the first two tracks, and maybe Death of a Salesman) First of all, the idea of making an alternative rock/pop punk-esque record seems good at paper but when it came to the process it turned out to be bland and dull in the end. Aside from that, we haven’t even got to the worst song on the entire album which is “Step” the annoying vocals of Hollis Mae (whom was Al & Mimi’s little daughter) and awful lyrics and awful production make Limp Bizkit look like Wolf Alice. The fact that this band has released several good albums, their debut on Sub Pop (in my opinion) proved to be a disastrous mess, I can safely say that even after 15 years it is a messy, and ugly piece of shit in the end. They released better stuff than this, and I think we should dismiss this album as a sin.

Beautiful sounding record. It never ceases to amaze me how Low comes up with such beautiful recordings.
