múm – Finally We Are No One

Confused as to why this still says it's a UK release when the pressing plant is located in the US, I don't think the US manufactured many (if any) CDs for the UK market during the 00s

i have been protecting my 10" for soo long and its stressful. lol we need a repress.

Got reply from Múm on IG about why this hasn't been repressed. They said FatCat lost the rights to this album and now a company called PIAS owns it. When I asked about a repress they said: "Yes, there is probably a good chance it can happen in a few years if/when we get the rights."

Alex Knight from FatCat Records said they would like to put together a vinyl repress, but no date is announced yet

Who knows, how many copies this 2x10'' edition is ?

They need to do another special release of this as Loksins Erum Við Engin with the icelandic vocals

It's worth noting that all sides end in locked grooves; be careful not to drift asleep or get too lost in your daydreams to avoid wrecking your needle.

Lovely quirky, playful album that's mixes lo-fi aesthetics in a wonderfully organic way. Doesn't sound very electronic although it is.
Anyway I just bought a new sealed copy of this in 12 Tónar records, Reykjavik for £12. Shame I can't read the inlay card!

one of my most favorite and cherished records of all time. feels like you're in a dream swimming underwater in slow motion and as you are trying to reach the surface with the last of your breath; your finger tips break the surface of water. but instead of reaching the air above, you emerge into the great abyss of outer space. pure darkness interspersed with stars fluttering in the distance, floating on clouds like dandelion seed gradually disintegrating from the gravitational pull of a supernova gasping it's last breath, kinda like the ecstasy of st. teresa.. except for instead of orgasming into oblivion, you transverberate into infinity while sparkly dust clouds expel from your posterior ejaculating rainbows into the great maw of the void.

as a matter of fact: it is amazing and worth 50 Euro and more. even after 11 years is sounds fresh!
