Reviews
- Losing Control samples John Lennon 'Jealous Guy' "I began to lose control" - always had a bit of a strawberry fields-like harmony for me.
Heard it on a late 92 Ellis Dee mix where he plays a good portion of this and brings in Kev Bird 'This is a trip' - proper rollin stuff!! - Edited 3 years agoBurn to the spliff...."Burn two spliff and rock to the riddem, Rub two dub burn Ital collie..." from 'Don't Let It Pass You By' UB40 1981. It's interesting that many UK tunes used samples which linked directly to the shared experiences (from pop, TV, movies) of the same age group. Re: 1990 Goodfellas & 'UK Apachi,' 1987 Robocop & "20 seconds to Comply" etc.
