I’ve had two copies now, each with unacceptable crackles. I wish labels would stick with black vinyl.referencing Palomine (LP, Album, 7", 33 ⅓ RPM) GU 3 LP
Underrated forsure, mine didn't come with the 7 in. but it doesn't matter. Good Musicreferencing Palomine (LP, Album) OLE 046-1
Just noticed that my (black: Matador) vinyl version has Side I labels on both sides of the LP.referencing Palomine (LP, Album, Reissue, Orange Translucent, 7", 33 ⅓ RPM, Orange Translucent) OLE-1928-LP
Too quiet and very noisy, and I'm not fussy about these things.referencing Palomine (LP, Album, Reissue, Orange Translucent, 7", 33 ⅓ RPM, Orange Translucent) OLE-1928-LP
There’s indeed some light surface noise despite, in my case, ultrasonic cleaning, but nothing mayor in fact. Only hearable during very quiet parts, or in between songs. But I had expected even better quality, I’m missing some clarity, some better separation. But that’s surely due to the original recording. If you’re a fan of this album don’t hesitate for one second.referencing Palomine (LP, Album, Reissue, Orange Translucent, 7", 33 ⅓ RPM, Orange Translucent) OLE-1928-LP
Does it have surface noise in the quiet parts? Yes. Do 80% of the new records I’ve bought in the past 10 years have surface noise in the quiet parts? Yes (especially colored wax). Should it deter you from buying this release? No. On the whole, this package is worth the price of admission. It rocks!referencing Palomine (LP, Album, Reissue, Orange Translucent, 7", 33 ⅓ RPM, Orange Translucent) OLE-1928-LP
Ooof...my copy apparently has some sand mixed into the vinyl, as it crackles pretty fiercely in the softer passages. Bummer, as the mastering and presentation are nifty...referencing Palomine (LP, Album, Reissue, Orange Translucent, 7", 33 ⅓ RPM, Orange Translucent) OLE-1928-LP
This sounds excellent and looks stunning in orange. The album and the 7" only have the most minimal crackles you'd expect from almost any vinyl issue (and any other crackles that might exist can't be heard over the music). Nothing to worry about. Don't have the original LP to compare.referencing Palomine (LP, Album, Reissue, Orange Translucent, 7", 33 ⅓ RPM, Orange Translucent) OLE-1928-LP
Lots of surface noise / crackling, mostly at the b-side of the record. Matador did a bad job here at the pressing plant.- Edited one year ago

Disappointing reissue. Very noisy. Particularly side B of the album, has a annoying long-lasting crack at track Sundazed To The Core. Furthermore there is at lot of noise between the tracks. The album is warped.
The music sounds great though.
