Disc 1 is a remastered and remixed version of Black Sabbath - Live At Last.... Tracks 1-5 were recorded at the Hardrock in Manchester, England on March 11, 1973. Tracks 6-9 were recorded at the Rainbow Theatre in London, England, on March 16, 1973.
Disc 2: tracks (1, 5-9) recorded by RTBF for television at Theatre 140, 140 Avenue Plasky in Brussels, Belgium on October 3, 1970. The entire performance in Brussels was first broadcast on "Pop Shop" by RTBF, Belgium on January 21, 1971 (part one) & April 4, 1971 (part two).
Tracks 2-4 were recorded at the Asbury Park Convention Hall in Asbury Park, New Jersey on August 5, 1975.

Sounds great, have no complaints but you have to turn it up a whole lot.
Edited 3 months agoMy pressing sounds great. I believe I have this pressing as the labels match up, but the runout numbers don't. Side 3 has R1 552925 C2 and not C1, so not sure what's up with that. My copy also came with the sleeves in the picture but the records were packaged in black poly lined sleeves which was interesting, but good for me as that was two records less that I had to supply sleeves for. All I care for is the sound and it sounds good.
Edited 7 months agoDefinitely some QC issues with my copy. Slight warps on both LP's and a few pock marks. A couple spots, about the size of a pen tip, are white. A toothpick did nothing, but no audio issues. There's a lot of music on these LP's so you have to crank them.
Edited 8 months agoBought this a few weeks ago from Amazon for $28 and I think it sounds good. Arrived in mint condition.
I guess I'm lucky as it only took me two attempts to get a decent pressing. The first one I got had a really gnarly spot on side 4... blob-sized, but deep like a gash...
Worth getting, but prolly better to seek it out used so you can know what shape it's in. Sealed copies seem to be a real crapshoot.
Really good packaging with a nice gatefold with some interviews and good photos of them on the inner sleeve though it suffers from occasional noise between tracks and has an annoying click on the megalomania track during the beginning even after a wet clean the rest of the sides play good without skips
Three copies of this so far (after exchanges) 4th is on the way the quality control is non existent. First copy severely warped, I could have slid another record in the space between the platter and the disk. Second copy audible scratches on 3 of the 4 sides. Exchanged for a copy I'm currently listening to. Visual scratches and scuffs, at least 1 audible causing a few pops then stopping. Here's hoping the replacement for the first will be better.

Hi, could someone tell me if there are any differences in terms of sound quality/remastering between the present 2016 edition and the remasters from 2010 ?
