Who is Euan Dickinson? And what did he actually produce on this record?- This edition is the same as https://www.discogs.com/fr/release/8074633-Massive-Attack-Ritual-Spirit. It's the hand screenprinted one, as you can see through the copies sold. This page, with the wrong cover picture (there are no five colors hand screenprinted sleeves), is just confusing.
- What's the difference between the issue here and the standard UK/Europe issue? I'm not seeing anything to indicate that it's numbered or that the cover and vinyl is different. Sale prices are certainly different.

Yes, it’s a great pressing and 180 gram vinyl but more importantly, the title track Ritual Spirit is among Massive Attack’s best work. Flawless production, great vocal from Azekel and really phat sub bass. Sounds amazing on a big system. This track is never leaving my record box.
When Massive Attack finally sit down to record a new album, I hope they use Ritual Spirit as a blueprint.- Edited one year agoQuestion on the numbering. I've only ever seen these numbered /50... and the 4 different covers. Supposedly 200 sold in London and 100 in Berlin. But how did we end up all of them being x/50? The math doesn't work. Are there duplicate numbers then? Or unnumbered ones (which I've never seen on any of the dozens sold on ebay over the years).
*edit - just noticed the notes say "Each of the first 200 released are numbered x / 50." but I've never seen any unnumbered ones? referencing Ritual Spirit (12", 45 RPM, EP, Grey) VST2129
Everything worked smoothly and the vinyl is excellent! Happy days-referencing Ritual Spirit (12", 45 RPM, EP, Grey) VST2129
With a setup that offers good low and mids this album is spectacular! Such a wall of sound.referencing Ritual Spirit (12", 45 RPM, EP, Grey) VST2129
I just scored a copy of this EP and even though it cost more than any other EP in my collection it was worth every penny. Great pressing of 4 absolutely amazing tracks. IMO one of the best releases in the MA catalog.- Photography by Iain Mckell, from his book 'sub culture' 1979 (republished in 2015).
