The Tubes – Remote Control

DIsagree with invalidusername on the quality of the writing but the sound is indeed terrible. I did an A-B comparison against versus another CD reissue of this recording and the American Beats reissue has a super thin shrill treble favored sound. Almost like it was an amateur cassette tape transfer to a CD.

Fortunately for me I didn't pay too much for this awful album. Terrible sound, well described by aliensporebomb. It's the Rundgren thing... not a fan.

Does this use the same alternate mixes as the 2007 reissue by American Beat Records (24572)?

Haven’t played this in years and first time on a decent system. Great sound, no doubt a function of Todd Rundgren’s involvement.

Same version but no gold stamp, also band postcard included.

Note that the track times on both the pictured labels are not the same as the track times on the release submission above.
Also the word Pseudo on both labels is misspelled as Psuedo.
