Rick Astley – Body & Soul

Anyone here know if this is any better than the Brazilian press?

This review goes for (from what ive seen) pretty much every brazilian RCA pressing. My copy was sealed, yet even after multiple wet cleans and multiple dry cleans with a record brush, left a huge amount of gunk on my stylus. Definitley needs to be cleaned with a record cleaning machine. The sleeve and insert are VERY flimsy and super thin, and have no spine text. The record itself is also super thin and flimsy, but surprisingly aside from the noise from dirt, sounds fine. If you got this cleaned on an RCM itd probably sound really good. Defintiley only pick up one of these pressings if its the only pressing of whatever album, or for collectors value. Willing to bet other country variants are the same deal. Also (from the 2 brazilian RCA pressings i own), it looks like theres a huge circular crack that goes around the first song. This just seems to be from there being more vinyl on the outside of the record than on the inside. Doesnt seem to make any sound difference on my end though, and doesnt skip around or anything like that.
EDIT: Got this cleaned on a record cleaning machine at a local record store. Still crazy noisy, really wish this would get repressed :(
