Great package but mixed thoughts on the pressing. Every record was filthy and scratched out of the sleeves, A side as others have said was noisy with pops, crackle and distortion even after cleaning and same goes for the 10 inch, but the remaining sides were all fine and sounded great.

I always try to get earlier pressings but depending on the situation I get newer ones. This was 35$ opened but looked ex/ex so I got it. This sounds really good but the ten inch is slightly noisy with some crackling and pops here and there. Until I find an earlier pressing for a decent price this is great until then.

For such a great album, I have not been impressed with the quality of the pressing. Even after a deep cleaning, there are still markings on the vinyl and pops/crackles that should not be so evident with new vinyl. Disappointing.

Music flawless and beautiful. Like being transported to another dimension... HOWEVER ... the pressing is not good. Pops and crackles, though especially on the last side (opposite the etched side). Until the music gets louder, there's a lot of noise. I even listened to it on streaming to make sure it wasn't some kind of ironic mix-in from the band. Sadly no, it's just a sh*tty pressing. FFS, when you spend €45 on a sealed vinyl you expect better.

Man, this pressing is bad. The climaxes are a mess of distortion, and side A is full of surface noise. This just doesn’t sound good. I prefer the YouTube upload haha. Man, what a shame. Was hoping to be converted and have a religious experience with this album like so many do but the mastering is just bad on this release. What a shame. Can’t win ‘em all.

The noise is barely noteworthy. I’m just glad them spindle holes are centered and the discs are flat. This album getting reissued during the pandemic was a happy day for me.

No noise on my copy after a deep clean. Very good sound. Best format I've heard this album in.
