Polarlicht in 1984 ? very early don't you think ?
Dreadful quality recording: slow, grainy, grey, wavering soundstage and lots of small dropouts on the tape. Avoid.
Edited 5 years agoA great pressing! Yes the guitar is low but still audible and everything else is clear. It needs the pitch pushed up to sort out the slow detuned issue, but that's not a problem for me. I prefer this version of Eisengrau to the Viva version.
Terrible sound. Album recorded too slow. One star for cover sleeve.- Edited 6 years agoTerrible pressing, there is a real mastering mistake the music is really too slow, and you have to pitch the speed of the turntable to hear the real pace of music. It's sad because tracklisting is good, sound is decent and sleeve is good aswell.
- Extreme clear recording, unfortunately the guitar is too low and it is missing the "live feeling" a bit.
Still great to have on vinyl. Missing the 2 encore songs.
