- Have to disagree with the previous reviewer, maybe he got unlucky with his copy? The songs on this album were recorded live in the studio, pretty much in a single take on the most part by all accounts. The press itself is very good, my copy plays silently without any skipping issues, as to the mastering all I can say is my copy doesn't sound muffled or compressed. The music itself is great, heavier psych rock which was a real change for The Coral and one I like. It's not expensive to get and can still easily be picked up new so if you're considering it I'd say buy it and make up your own mind.
- IGNLP71 is the shit sandwich LP of the century. I don't remember ever encountering a lousier mastering/press. Sound is muffled, compressed and fuzzy, which is a shame because "Million Eyes" is a musical masterpiece. This turd sounds like it was mastered by Borat's sister who smeared a bad CD on a crap pie and sent it to be pressed under the village goat herder's fat ares. This is what happens when dumb teenagers and hipster millennial "rediscover" vinyl - they get what they ask for and there's never seem to be any lack of capitalizing bastards who would give it to them. Shame on you "The Coral" for letting this happen and shame on you for killing my music. Keep your distance from the distance inbetween LP if you have any love for music.

Wild Dream Chase
I surely enjoyed a new kind of psychedelic sound that The Coral demonstrates on Distance Inbetween. “Rise in the burning light, your spirit flies around me like a butterfly, shifting through the sleepless night toward bridges of wasting lights chasing the tail of a dream.” The songs became less melancholic and more rhythmic. The guitar riffs are more vivid and the use of electronics though more generous remains unobtrusive.
