Very clean pressing. And the mixing seems different from the digital/cd version, it has more depth, the sound is lush. Different versions are not as different or interesting as the original tracks, except for 3 rules which is really fun. Packaging is beautiful.

does anyone have the vastly different (to the CD and digital) tracks from this vinyl version on mp3 or a source to purchase them?Theyre way better.

An underrated, unheard of masterpiece. Get the vinyl, if you want a longer mix!

Not the kind of music I usually listen to. As far as electronic music goes I'm more likely to be listening to Kraftwerk, Yello, YMO, Gas, Matmos etc than the full on 'shake your booty in the club' music that Tiga tends to make... saying that I've always been attracted to Tiga's stony faced tongue in cheek music.

This album is a mix in terms of producer help, mixers etc but somehow it generally comes together to sound like one body of work. The deepest and most enjoyable tracks tend to be the ones Matthew Dear helped out on... they just have a really nice space to them whilst also being heavy.

A good chunk of the tracks revolve around one or two vocal lines repeated infinitely; somehow these tracks work out better than the ones with more developed lyrics... especially the final track Blondes Have More Fun which I straight out just didn't like. Actually come to think of it I didn't really like any of Side D: Bugatti I had already heard a bunch and so now just flies over my head, Secretary was a bad sounding demo version of a four year old track that had a soundscape that whilst interesting was directionless and didn't fit with the overall sound of the album and then the final track just left a sour taste in my mouth.

It's not all bad, I come to this album to delve into the mix and the production; and there is a lot to chew on here! The LP comes with a download code that allows you to download either WAV or MP3 of the album (that's how it's done!). The download is for the CD tracklisting which has replaces Secretary with the full Plush version and all the tracks are in what I guess is their 'original' form (aka no extended or alternative mixes), I have yet to listen to this but it's great it comes with this and I'm looking forward to picking up on the differences.

6 or 7/10 - an enjoyable listen with a deep mix to dive in to.
