Next level Detroit techno that's sounds as good now as it did 25 years ago
You need this in your collection now !!!!!referencing Aqua Dance / Graphics (12", 45 RPM) FRG-9
great record. aqua dance is uplifting wishywashy type track. graphics is sick as hell, very building and beautiful and gentle. to be quite frank, gorgeous!referencing Aqua Dance / Graphics (12", 45 RPM) FRG-9
this one has been re-pressed/bootlegged somewhere in the mid 2000s - be careful, the later pressing is terrible. both copies i have are pressed 8mm off centre + the high freqs are extremely boosted/burnt in the right channel - ive heard this track played many times in the 90s and the original, even if not perfect didnt sound like this at all..
both track seem to be one of Sterac's more "personal" ones, they're quite fast, but i'd say that if you loved your "Secret life of machines", you'd want to hear this one too.

When I first got this, I thought "This is great, but who the hell is Steve Rachmad?" I wondered why he was unknown, but I guess he wasn't for long...Side one is really uplifting, pure melodic techno, with a major, lush chorus of strings. It's like a Maxfield Parrish print- a bit too baroque but undeniably beautiful. Side two is more of the same motif but toned down- like Mystic Rhythm's Track Relaxer or Dave Angel's Endless Motion.
