This song really holds up some 40 years later. Psyance brings up a good point about this particular 12"...all 4 mixes have some added instrumentation (not even sure what to call the instrumentation...honking?). Though I personally don't find it annoying. It's just a different take on the songs. Perhaps superfluous in the end, but doesn't take away from the rest of the music in my opinion.

This release might have been overlooked but I find it annoying that he blends sounds from his "Carnival Mix" in the three other versions here. The "Horn-A-Mental" one could have been interesting otherwise but still not particularly stand out. My favorite versions overall are the original airplay 7" version, the dope "N.A.D. Mix" and the very cool add-on that is the "Horny Version".

Three of the four mixes on this promo 12" are exclusive remixes by Michael Hutchinson only available on this release!!! Not the usual Extended, 7" and instrumental 'Horny' versions included on many other releases. The only version here released elsewhere to date was the "Carnival Mix". A real gem very easy to be overlooked mistakenly thinking that this mixes are the usual ones. I commited that mistake for decades until I heard them short time ago and quickly put my hands on a copy of this 12".
