The first (and only, till now) UK '93 vinyl pressing has constant crackles in the background(I bought 2 copies and both suffer from this problem).
Being a disc with 1 or 2 songs per side, it has a high volume and wide dynamic range, that distracts you from it, making it enjoyable, except for Bringin Down The Light, being a synth-song, the crackling is invasive.
Bottom line, it needs a proper reissue.

I had the same thought yesterday as well. They could also sort out the running order (Bringing Down The Light shouldn't go in the middle) and perhaps make a triple to add the great B sides to the Jean the Birdman single. BMG did Dead Bees for RSD this year and so they could well do TFD for a RSD in the future ….

The limited edition postcard, slipcased set, often has darker paint spots on the CD label side that show through to the playing surface when held up to the light. All copies play perfectly.

My copy has the identical Matrix /Runout has a distribution code PM 520 on the disc but on the back cover the distribution code is PM 527
