- This pressing is very tight. There is little surface noise but I noticed really good bass. The highs don’t suffer because of it though. It comes with an etched 4th disc with an outline of the cover photo. I’ve been listening to this and the previous 2 albums and this one sounds the best.
- After giving this one a spin I'm impressed with the pressing quality! Sounds fantastic and hits nicely on wax. I wasn't so sure about this album at first, but quickly warmed up; it has since become one of my favorite M83 works. Someone else mentioned this is a foil to Daft Punk's Random Access Memories, and I couldn't agree more. This has all of the fun and great melodies that record was missing, and this one also hits some surprisingly affecting emotional notes as well, especially on tracks like Sunday Night 1987. Overall couldn't be happier with this one, definitely staying in my permanent collection.
- Unsure as to all the hate this record is receiving. This has to be one of my favorite albums of all time, I feel in love immediately with Do it Try it, Go, and Time Wind. Personally, this is a masterpiece. As for the vinyl itself, it sounds great. Little to no surface noice and not flat at all. The etch on side D is a nice touch!
- Edited 5 years agoThe second song, Go! with Mai Lan is worth the price of the entire album.

Wow, what a collaboration!
Our love, our love
Ran away, ran away
Gotta save it, gotta save it
I'm comin', I'm comin', I'm comin' for you
I'm done, I'm done, I'm done without you - Could anyone expand a bit as to the sound quality of the Mute/Naïve vinyl? Out of 14 reviews not one has touched on this subject.
- Edited 6 years agoWhat an unfortunate travesty. Such an innovative act, ultimately succumbing to the triviality of everything that sucked about the 80's. A disposable and unmemorable listen, and M83's weakest release to date. "Junk"...so aptly titled.
- My expectations on the album were low after reading the mostly dismissive reviews below. So listening to it was really a nice surprice, track after track after track. Always melodic, often catchy, A good album in my opinion.
- In my opinion, they tried to do what Daft Punk did with RAM; make a themed album from an era of music they love. However, it fell a bit short for me. It feels more like a side project or something.
