Holy f*cking sh*t man. This album blew my balls right off. I’d read about how great this album is and how great the pressing is, and I’d never really given it a listen. My wife and I toured the Third Man pressing plant here in Detroit and before that I gave this album a listen. Killer, all the way through. Not a single skip. I have a few other of Jack’s Third Man pressings and they mostly sound kinda rough around the edges in terms of surface noise, but it works just fine in the context of the songs. This pressing is incredible- very silent background minus the dead wax, incredibly dynamic, with huge sound space and depth. I can definitely see why the album won a Grammy for Engineering. Incredible, and spectacular pressing. Can’t recommend enough 🤘🏼

Just bought this from the Vault (UK), just joined, and wasn't a member then. It sounds great and recommended. It didn't include the stickers and patch I believe was included in the original release.

What a behemoth of a record. Massive soundstage and low end. Everything is clear and focused and the music just jumps out at you. Absolutely one of the best sounding contemporary records in my collection. Buy this.

Is the newer version the same as the original? As far as who cut this record and where it was pressed?

One of the best sounding records I own. So clear its like their playing live in your room. Decent heavyweight Id say 200g vinyl. Why couldnt the first one sound like this if they were re-releasing both at the same time ? Also weird about the front and back being reversed but apart from that its a good release.

Mine appears to be back to front. The back cover usually is the front cover on mine. The normal front has the barcode on it. Thought it was just moving the sleeves but nope proper. back to front. Anyone else ?

This is one of the absolute best records in my collection. Every song is a certified banger. I was on the waiting list for this for almost a year on Third Man and smashed the buy button when I finally got the email. The pressing is amazing, and Third Man never disappoints when it comes to presentation,
