As a collector, I got all editions of DMC Series(remix service founded in 1981).
But, The Original DMC Tape Series(from February 1983 to June 1984) is fabulous!
Recommended for any DJ or serious DMC collector!- Edited 6 years agoGoing to be a pedant here - the statement "CD hadn't even been invented, or digital!" is quite incorrect.
Sony released the first commercially available CD player in 1982, and digital mastering had been around since the seventies. It might have been eye-wateringly expensive, but it most definitely existed.
It just wasn't in DMC's budget...
