Radiohead – A Moon Shaped Pool

This pressing sounds great. Very dynamic, I did notice some noise on side 4, but ran it thru SpinClean, and didn't notice it the second time around. What a great album.

Received mine today, looks like the runouts match that of the Optimal pressing, even down to the sticker over the barcode. Sounds great, though.

Has anyone listened to this version yet? Be curious to know if this is better than the one that came out back in 2020.

Just purchased the after it was restocked in 2022 and it has Rainbo (S-…) in dead wax still. It sounds way to good to be a Rainbo though plus Rainbo is closed. I’m wondering if maybe they repressed at Precision or GZ with the Rainbo metal parts. It’s not Optimal because it doesn’t have those numbers either, but it does machine etchings similar to GZ media, not matching their format exactly either. Any one else have this one?

My first copy ended up warped and super noisy even after cleaning. My replacement however is perfect! Sound is absolutely incredible! Vinyl is super quiet! A winner all round.

Bought 2 copy of this pressing with same problem. If you can tolerate annoying noise in quiet part (there are many of them in this album) then it's sound really good.

Edit : I soaked it in water with vinegar overnight and most of noise disappear.

I was very disappointed in the sound initially which despite strong bass and a big soundstage also had quite a bit of noise and distortion. The noise is due to a less than pristine pressing and the distortion due to an over-exuberant mastering engineer who made an overly loud cut. A clean has half sorted it out and now it plays with less noise, though it is not perfect and some mistracking distortion remains. Not my favourite Radiohead album, but good nevertheless.

Juste got my hands on a white pressing at my local store (uk). I am guessing it is a repress? 2022 perhaps? Had a sticker saying limited edition but I doubt it is one, especially one of 9000 editions like the description says. Need for e new entry?

Must have had a lot of junk in the grooves after pressing. After an ultrasonic clean, it's much better. Nowhere near as many crackles and pops

Very great pressing. Vocals are a bit muffled at points, but the rest of the sound is phenomenal. Especially the low-ends, this is a VERY bass-y pressing. I don't see what people are complaining about at all thankfully
