Around the time when Avi Nissim (Astral Projection) was working on his first few goa trance tracks under SFX monicker (which came out years later as "previously unreleased"), Trilithon released the first ever full-length goa trance album (to my knowledge). It sounds a bit more like "goa techno" than "goa trance", however. But the roots are there.

Make no mistake about it - this is a seminal album. A mix of oldskool techno and early goa trance, along with couple of lame new age tracks thrown in. Several tracks include the epic vocal choir sound and organ music, which was used extensively in oldskool hardcore.

Goa trance collectors should check this album out. Key goa tracks on the album are "Prayer (Mutant Version)", "Synrise" and "Trance Dance".

There are some real Techno highlights from the early 90's on this album, which also been released much ahead of their time: When the Term "Goa-Trance" wasn't even exist, the music was there (and Goa was there as well...).

The problem with the Trilthon project, is it's awful production. The tracks weren't mixed well, and sounds very messy and chunked. Also over-compressed mastering, so the bass drum causes the "pumping effect" on other instruments.

Still, this will always remain a all time favorite. 5/5. Kick ass! will blow your head up the mountains and back.
What else do we need? :-)
