Unless Mexican Pesos are the currency of choice, here another album becomes victim of speculative attack! Beware of sellers putting ridiculous valuations on a record like this one in the vain hope some fool will come along thinking it's worth the money. Always do your research before committing and later regretting a purchase.

Strange but in my view i'd says this is worth just under the price of original press and seems it is just as rare. This here is prob the best pressing to have out of all of them (apart from the original 1981 press if u can even find that at a reasonable price!!!) Whoever pressed this unofficial version did a SPECIAL AMAZING JOB (i own x2 vinyl 2010 issue repress and it is terrible sounding recorded of a cd). I'm sure they used the original master somehow on this pressing or even copied the first pressing perfectly, using maybe a vinyl cutting lathe, while directly playing the original to get a identical master to press???
Ok I see this is really hard to find and not sold on here.... Shame as without a doubt dont waste your money on the repress. Hunt for this version or the original pressing if sound quality matter to u.

PS This Release Is Best Identifiable By Seeing Picture Of Reverse Cover, The Text is Slightly Cut Off On the Bottom LEFT At Start Due To Alignment Error During Printing.
Hope that helps folks lol

General comment on the reissues and not the original release

ALL the reissues have the same faults on a couple of tracks. if you know your stuff you'll know what the tracks are and where. There are no master tapes of this album and I won't divulge why. So I guess a the latest reissue will sound much like the rest.

As someone mentioned earlier the 1st generation (90's) Japan reissues sound the best. I'll just expand on this by adding both the compact disc and vinyl were repressed by the original label in the USA before export to Japan during the 90's......Hence the 1st generation Japan reissues are legit 'Uno Melodic Records' pressings (and not just branded to appear so like the later reissues), but here's the kicker, it was not from master tapes.

Funny thing is the '80's Ladies' album was reissued at the same time with both vinyl and compact disc mastered from original tapes. Go figure!!!!

From all reissues this 1995 Japan pressing is still the best sounding.

Sounds extremely harsh and sibilant. I have never heard the original before, so I don't know if it's originally already like that.
Edit: the CD reissue on Universal Sound sounds more like what I expected, so the Japanese team botched the remastering here.

I assume these platters spin at 45rpm? Otherwise there would be little point in stretching out the material to 2 discs...
