This pressing sounds pretty darn good. And yes, the seamless transitions between Intro + Last Living Souls, Dirty Harry + Feel Good, Don't Get Lost in Heaven + Demon Days are here! No gaps!

does every copy of this not have transitions between the songs?

Why are there 2 different versions of this pressing? Is the version without the parental advisory sticker more rare?

Defies the "picture disc = poor sound quality" stereotypes. This pressing preserves the original track layering available on the OGs, keeping the natural flow of this groundbreaking lp. My discs are flat and rarely did I hear surface noise (interestingly enough it seems to follow deep bass driven passages (static?)...overall, dead quiet. Lots of detail here --> broad dynamics, transparent soundstage & endless slam.

Hands down, worst LP in my collection, pressing-wise. Mine is PURE garbage, can't even listen to it. Static, skipping, all the things. I played it back to back with tests LP's and this one is clearly defective.

Hoping someone can help a total Discogs noob? I have a pressing that is NOT on here, after I have researched every l listed copy for about an hour. The runout on my disk, Side A: 1739642 153238E1 Bazza Alchemy 5859992 A1. Side D on mine clearly has "D2" where nothing on discogs has D2. After cataloging a LOT of LP's, this is the fist time I have found one not on here. Is this rare? Should I list it? Is this why mine is so, particularly bad? Maybe it's some throw-away copy?

I think the skipping that people are experiencing with this is just their stereo systems not being able to handle the bass and drums. It’s very punchy mastering and a turntable this is inexpensive or improperly set up in terms is the tone arm tracking force, alignment, etc. might skip on heavy bass parts especially with a heavy drum hit.
This is pressed very well, especially for a picture disc. Sounds great!

The crackling on side D is a bit annoying - the rest of the record sounds crystal clear though...

My copy I got from the 2018 Parlaphone version matches this one exactly. Little bummed since the other copy has rave reviews but I wonder how many people don't notice it's this copy.

Overall it's got phenomenal bass - the transitions between tracks ARE on this pressing and there is NO locked groove on side C. The overall quality leaves a little more to be desired with how good Plastic Beach sounds.Maybe one day I'll get around to buying a 2018 copy of Demon Days to A/B test just to see if I'm going crazy or not. Overall though if you find this for a good price I wouldn't spend more than $20 to find a 2018 press as this one's still overall solid.
