Reviews
- I rate this as Top quality audiophile music and it does sound great but the actual music is played with passion and it sounds awesome and no doubt is a benchmark but for me lacks two excellent songs its a bit of a mismatch
- Very good LP pressing, I have the 10th anniversary ( 3LP) , the album is perfect.
Fun fact: the track "Contact" has some noise added (pops and cracks from a usual vinyl record) on all supports ( streaming, other digital support) except on the Vinyl for obvious reason, I appreciate the detail.
Still don't understand why so many LPs (incl. this one) are released with only simple paper inner sleeves and not something doubled with antistatic plastic. - Reading comments here that this release doesn't sound good, or inferior to other records people have - I'd really recommend triple checking you actually have this release. One of the best sounding pressings of any record I've ever heard in my life.
- I am listening this to this for the 2nd time. The songs absolutely great - the extra track’s fantastic- glad to have them. I was wanting to get my hands on the RAM vinyl version but luckily this came out and I decided to pre-order - it took a while to get here even with prime. When I picked it up from amazon counter service I understood why - the original tape came off. Someone put on packing tape over the original tape. I opened it and the media cardboard housing the album itself also wasn’t glued on properly but the album itself was unharmed. Still within the shrink wrap.
The quality of the pressing is superb - I must’ve gotten lucky - I just read several reviews regarding bad pressing and skips.
This pressing while superb is still slightly not as good as my daft punk discovery album. RAM was just a tad noisier. I am happy to have this copy but am listening again to see if I need to update this review. So far no skipping or warping. Wow or flutter I can detect. - My album has 2 side 4's, and no side 3! It has the side 3 label, but side 4 songs are repeated? WTF? Anyone else?
- Bass saturated album, awful!, most of the tracks have nothing original or interesting, "Get Lucky" is nice but again bass saturated, what a poor artist and engineering job, you need to review your Classics, any solo album by G. Moroder is superior in sound to this (American Gigolo OST, Cat People (OST).
- As we all know.. one of the best records out there in terms of sound quality. Especially one of digital music ater 2010.
- beware of new products for less than 50€, this is not the original version.
for an original sealed version, the value would be closer to 500€.
all reissues look like the original, be wary.
