Massive international is a community-based enterprise, originating from Hackney East London and Tottenham North London. Both areas are known for their diverse musical heritage, large Caribbean community and London influenced culture.
Initially formed as a youth project fundraising initiative, called Big Broad and Massive (B.B.M). The founding members staged a series of multimedia music events during the early 80's highlighting the music and artistic wealth of the areas. They also started to promote and distribute self-produced merchandise at London based markets, music festivals and Carnivals around the UK and Europe. As part of this fundraising effort, a branch was opened in a then vibrant and influential Camden lock market in 1992. After the demise of B.B.M, the Camden branch changed its name to Massive International London. This eventually became a shop, officially opening in 2002. We have been delivering our unique style of retail at Camden Lock Market from then till now.
